I am simply not intelligent enough to know how to trade Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) properly, nor have I traded Tesla in my life, but man, my eyeballs have really been glued to the quote monitor and also their option chains today and yesterday.
Some interesting charts with captions:
I’m not sure what medication you need to trade this, but my doctor hasn’t prescribed it.
LOL, you don’t need any if you ever traded bitcoins.
I thought the likes of TSLA is not your investing style.
Where will the money come from to take this private? Banks would be insane to lend them money to fund the buyout.
Quite frankly, if somebody put a gun to my head, I think trading bitcoin futures would be easier than Tesla. The amount of retail following of bitcoin makes the trend projections easier.
3rd graph is call, not put.. 😉
Is this really traded prices on the options or bid-offer? Seems like the latter, I think you basically see the spreads widening on uncertainty which also happens when economic events come up in FX.. so someone (some bot) is quoting something, pulling the quote, quoting something, etc..
Just my thoughts as a longtime trader, I might miss something.. I also have zero interest in trading this bogus stuff or trading anything for that matter, for the last years I only made a few trades really.
@Thijs: Good observation! Glad somebody’s paying attention to the details (Put vs. Call caption).
The options are the bid-ask representations in white, while the blue line tracks actual trades.
